The university on social networks

Social media refers to online platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly Twitter) and others, through which users interact via messages and comments. TU Bergakademie Freiberg's activities on social networks are an important part of its communication strategy.

In addition to its website, the university uses social networks as a communication tool for news, information dissemination and image cultivation in order to reach relevant target groups, in particular students, prospective students, alumni and the media. Every social media post shapes the image of the university. This makes us visible and keeps us in the conversation. Responsible and safe use of social media channels is therefore important.

The TU Bergakademie Freiberg welcomes the variety of different appearances of central facilities, institutes, structural units, employees and students to report on topics, events, studies, teaching, science and research.
