During the conference, approaches for modelling treatment processes of industrial wastewater were presented by ITUN. The goal of modelling is to help to identify cost-effective solutions for removing relevant pollutants from industrial wastewater before it is discharged. Ph.D. candidate Marvin Lang from ITUN presented this topic in a lecture with the following title: "Modelling of wastewater treatment processes for coke wastewater for a superstructure approach" 

In addition to the scientific presentation, this topic was also presented in an entertaining way as part of a science slam - his performance was arwarded 3rd place.
