From 11 to 12 May, Dennis Bäcker and Robert Weidner took part in the MHI e.V. network meeting in Hamburg. This year's event was hosted by Thorsten Schüppstuhl from the Institute of Aircraft Production Technology (IFPT) at Hamburg University of Technology.
The discussions focussed on current developments in the field of embodied AI and the further development of joint teaching activities between the universities within the MHI network. Intensive discussions were also held with professors from the participating institutions.
A particular highlight was the presentation of the white paper developed in the MHI network: "Enabling Embodied AI in Industry". The results impressively demonstrate the potential that intelligent and autonomous systems can offer for future industrial production processes.
The personal and professional exchange with colleagues was once again extremely valuable. We would like to thank all participants for the open discussions and especially the host for the excellent organisation of the meeting!
