🚀 Progress in research on industrial exoskeletons at the INRS conference

From 5 to 7 May, David Scherb took part in the international conference "Sustainable prevention of musculoskeletal disorders: New Challenges for Research and Practice" (https://lnkd.in/dJawFtja), organised by INRS France in Nancy, France. 🇫🇷

David gave his presentation as part of the symposium "Status quo of research on industrial exoskeletons" organised by Ulrich Glitsch and Tessy Luger:

🦾 "Use of musculoskeletal simulations for the knowledge-based selection of industrial exoskeletons"

The presentation focused on the use of simulations of the human musculoskeletal system to support the targeted selection of industrial exoskeletons that are tailored to both the individual worker and the specific task requirements. 🎯👷‍♂️📊

This research contributes to improving the evidence-based use of exoskeletons in industrial environments and is part of the joint DFG/FWF research project "ExoExpert" (https://lnkd.in/edZYcyEC) in collaboration with the Chair of Production Systems | LPS | Ruhr-Universität Bochum 🤝🔬

A big thank you to the organisers and participants for the inspiring discussions and the valuable exchange on the future of sustainable prevention of musculoskeletal disorders and industrial ergonomics! 🌍✨
