As part of our DFG project CoExo, Robert, David and Amir travelled to the German Sport University Cologne in early December to visit our project partner, the Institute for Exercise Therapy and Movement-Oriented Prevention and Rehabilitation under the direction of Bettina Wollesen.
Together, we discussed the current project status, agreed on important findings and determined the next steps for the upcoming project phase 🚀.
A particular highlight: we became study participants ourselves 🙋♀️🙋♂️ and gained exciting first-hand insights into the planned study design. In particular, we were introduced to the fNIRS system, which measures brain activity by detecting changes in blood oxygen saturation using infrared light 🧠✨ - a fascinating and innovative method with great potential for our joint research.
Many thanks to everyone involved (Daniel Büchel, Franziska Schmitter and Isabel Braun) for the open exchange, the practical experience and the inspiring discussions. We look forward to further collaboration within the framework of CoExo!
