This year, our group once again took part in the annual catalysis conference in Weimar. We had the oppertunity to present our research through a lecture by Steffen Cramer on olefin oligomerization, short presentations by Alexander Groß and Markus Ulbricht on CO2 methanation and exhaust gas aftertreatment, respectively, as well as poster contributions by Dr. Adeem Rana (Methanol to Olefins), Felix Reichel (olefin oligomerization), Özge Selcuk (H2-DeNOx), Rostislav Konoplin (Methanol to Gasoline) and Christian Schmidt (Fischer-Tropsch synthesis). As in previous years, the scientific exchange with the many participants was highly inspiring. In particular, we were pleased that our team member Markus Ulbricht received a poster award for his work on the removal of CO and hydrocarbons from lean wood stove exhaust gases using non-precious metal catalysts.
