This summer, the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at TU Freiberg hosted a vibrant Ukrainian Summer School, featuring leading international mathematicians such as Dan Kráľ, Danylo Radchenko, Marthe Bonamy, and Volodymyr Nekrashevych. It offered young researchers from Ukraine and beyond a rare chance to engage deeply with frontier topics, connect with eminent mathematicians, and join a growing international network anchored at Freiberg.
In keeping with our commitment to research excellence and support for Ukraine, TU Freiberg established the Ukrainian Prize in Combinatorics, awarded this year to Andrii Arman for outstanding contributions in combinatorial geometry, notably for solving questions posed by Kalai and Schramm.
If you are an international or Ukrainian student considering study or a research stay, we welcome you to explore our programmes. At Freiberg you will find faculty who care, strong mentorship, and opportunities to connect
with scholars around the world.
