On Friday, 12 September, we visited the TEAG Academy training centre in Erfurt as part of our annual general meeting with the Gas Technology Support Group of the Association of Friends and Supporters of TU Bergakademie Freiberg. We were impressed by the modern, practical, future-orientated training in the fields of electrical engineering, IT, energy technology and gas technology. The centre is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and a clear focus on practical relevance and innovation. In the evening, Professor Hartmut Krause reported on the current focus of teaching and research at the Chair of Gas and Heat Technology at TU Bergakademie Freiberg. The focus was on research projects in the field of hydrogen and questions of securing young talent for the gas and energy industry.
We would like to thank the TEAG team, in particular Ms Anja Heilmann and Ms Kathrin Kössel, for the excellent organisation, the open exchange and the visible commitment to securing skilled workers for the energy industry and, last but not least, for the ongoing support of our work as part of our membership of the Sponsors' Association.
