The seminar opens with a lecture by Emmanouil Varouchakis, Assistant Professor at the Technical University of Crete and co-lead of the EURECA-PRO Flagship “Sustainable Mining & Resources”, followed by research presentations:
- Modern geostatistics for environmental mining and resource management
- Treatment of Cu-Au-As containing wastes from historical mining activities
- Sustainable zinc recycling and slag reuse
- Biocoke in metal recycling metallurgy.
