Global innovation in focus: Prof Dzinomwa inspires IARTeam to new partnerships and ideas!

The Institute for Processing Machines and Recycling Systems Technology (IARTeam) had the great pleasure of welcoming Prof Godfrey Dzinomwa from the Namibia University of Science and Technology. His visit was characterised by inspiring discussions, new ideas and promising approaches for future cooperation.

Topics and approaches for cooperation:
AI-assisted sorting: development of new technologies for sorting ores and other materials
Comminution: modelling of crushers and screens as well as research into vertical roller mills and other innovative technologies
Agglomeration and magnetic concentration: optimisation of material processing for more efficient processes
Prof. Dzinomwa was impressed by our research work and extended a warm invitation to the IAR team to visit him in Namibia to further deepen the collaboration. He also suggested presenting the results of our collaborations with industry at the 14th SOMP regional meeting in Harare in March 2025.

This international exchange opens up new perspectives and offers a great opportunity to jointly develop innovative solutions for processing and recycling. The IARTeam is looking forward to future collaboration.
