"Job profiles and career paths in the geosciences"

Are you studying one of our geosciences degree programmes and not quite sure yet what you’d like to do with your Degree after graduation? The job and career opportunities in the geosciences are very diverse, and the demand for qualified young professionals is growing.

Come along to our event ‘Job Profiles and Career Paths in the Geosciences’ on 2 July 2026 from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm and get an overview of where your path might take you after your time at TU Bergakademie Freiberg.

The Chair of Hydrogeology/Hydrochemistry and FSR 3 have once again put together a fantastic programme for you and invited many companies, public authorities and engineering firms from the geosciences sector. Potential employers will be introducing themselves and you’ll have the chance to make initial contacts. As well as interviews with graduates, there’ll be pretzels and drinks to keep you going.
