RISE Internship Offers

We offer internship possibilities and you can be our guest through the RISE Germany program. RISE Germany offers summer research internships in Germany for undergraduate students from North America, Great Britain and Ireland. In their internships, students are carefully matched with doctoral students and researchers (only from universities of applied sciences, UAS) – whom they assist and who serve as their mentors. Interns receive a monthly stipend to cover every day costs. About 300 scholarships are available each year.
For 2023, we gladly offer the following internships:
Dissolution behavior of heavy metals and other similar pollutants aimed at recycling lake sediments
Examining clogging and countermeasures in aquifer thermal energy storage systems (ATES)
Applications must be made through the RISE Germany website. You can also find more information as well as stories about intern experiences there.
Candadian undergraduate applicants have the possibility of additionally applying through RISE-GRI.
