Invitation to MEFORM 2025 and SFU 2025
The Institute of Metal Forming of the Technical University Freiberg cordially invites you to MEFORM 2025, which will take place on the 20. and 21. March 2025 in Freiberg. This conference addresses industrial and research developments in the fields of material science and production technology for metallic semi-finished products and is furthermore a platform for discussing the latest challenges and innovations in metal forming. All areas of forming technology, from forging and rolling, including flat and caliber rolling, to wire drawing will be discussed.

Newly integrated into the MEFORM 2025 will be the Sächsische Fachtagung Umformtechnik (SFU) in the form of the workshop “Artificial Intelligence in Forming Technologies”. This event is suited for everybody who wants to get to know and discuss the potential uses of AI in forming technologies.
