The research focus on casting rolling and hot rolling of light metals is focussed on the casting roll - strip rolling process chain for the cost- and energy-efficient production of magnesium sheets and strips. The aim is to understand the interaction of the various process steps on the final properties and to develop and improve further processing technologies for various magnesium alloys.

• AMARETO: Saxon Alliance for Material and Resource Conserving Technologies (SAB project as part of the Saxony Lightweight Construction Alliance)
