The Light Metals working group is passionately dedicated to the development and optimisation of processes for the production of semi-finished products and material composites made of light metals such as aluminium, magnesium and titanium. With a clear focus on machining and processing technology for magnesium, we strive to optimise material properties in line with requirements. The Light Metals working group at TUBAF is one of the leading institutions in the field of casting-rolling of magnesium alloys.
