The 10-semester diploma degree programmes "Geotechnics, Mining and Geoenergy Systems" (expiring) and "Geoengineering" (since WiSe 2023/24), each with the specialisation "Mining", are study programmes with the participation of our chair. In total, numerous courses in the field of mining are offered for more than 10 student groups. Detailed information on the course content can be found in the corresponding examination and study regulations or the module handbooks for the aforementioned degree programmes. On the following page "Courses" you will find a brief overview of the courses offered by our professorship. We also report separately on excursions and internships and student theses.

We ask all students on the two diploma degree programmes mentioned above to enrol in the OPAL course "Organisation Bergbau-Tiefbau". This is where cross-year information on lectures/exercises, excursions/internships and guest lectures is published and where enrolment for events organised by the professorship such as excursions/internships and guest lectures takes place.
