Here is a brief review of the celebrations that have taken place so far (selection):
Herzlichen Glückwunsch an alle Jubilare!
On 7 November 2024, the graduates of the Institute of Ceramics, Refractories and Composite Materials celebrated their golden diplomas. Prof Aneziris welcomed the jubilarians and gave an outline of the development of the university and the institute. Following the presentation of the diploma certificates, the guests were able to take a look at the Institute's laboratories and workshops.
Diamond diploma in carbon refinement
On 30 August 2024, the coal refiners led by Prof Naundorf and Dr Jähnig were guests at TU Bergakademie Freiberg again after 10 years. This time it was to celebrate 60 years of graduation. Five alumni accepted the invitation and were able to receive their anniversary diplomas in person.
A particular highlight was the trip on the Silberstadtbahn railway and the subsequent celebratory event in the Betstube der alten Elisabeth.
Here, Professor Dr Martin Gräbner and his team actively contributed to the success of the event.
Happy birthday!
Golden diploma of the metal formers
A different kind of lecture. On 7 May 2024, interested alumni gathered at the Institute of Metal Forming to gain an insight into current teaching and research. The group was warmly welcomed by Dr Guk and the participants received the Diamond Diploma as the crowning glory of their visit
