Today we can introduce a new team member at our chair! Hafsa Siddiqui will join the chair as part of the research group "Human-Machine-Systems". In her future work, she will focus on research to develop a knowledge-based selection approach for occupational exoskeletons based on task simulation combined with musculoskeletal human simulation.
Hafsa holds a Master's degree in Mechatronics from the University of Siegen, Germany, specialising in robotics, motion planning and intelligent automation. Her academic and industrial experience includes trajectory optimisation, perception systems and autonomous robotics. During her master's thesis at KUKA Deutschland GmbH, she adapted a state-of-the-art trajectory optimisation algorithm for industrial real-time use, achieving significantly smoother and faster robot movements. In addition, she has worked on projects in the areas of SLAM, dynamic obstacle filtering, FPGA-accelerated CNNs and autonomous robot development, reflecting her interdisciplinary expertise in the field of intelligent robot systems.
We are delighted to welcome Hafsa and wish her a wonderful time at our chair!
