Our students
After more than a decade into the programme, we experience (with some fluctuation) that our students in the majority are from emerging markets (like China, India, Pakistan, Iran, and others) and from developed countries (like Germany, France, USA, and others).
It is this diversity in culture and educational background which makes this programme particularly inspiring and apt to generate awareness for the particular opportunities and challenges of international business in the emerging and developing world.
Our alumni
The majority of alumni find jobs in Europe. The location of their third semester abroad is often decisive for deciding what country to work in.
Germany assumes by far the highest rank with nearly 30% of all alumni, followed by India with 6%, the USA and China with 4% respectively. The rest is distributed across 9 countries with shares of 1-2% and 32 countries , in which less than 1% or four alumni find their jobs.
Typical jobs of our alumni
- In private companies of any industry at typically higher management and leading positions, with high-level responsibility, with particular focus on firm-internationalisation, resource management, and ecologically sustanaible projects and projects of conservation of the nature
- In public organisations, with responsibilities in bilateral and multilateral negotiations on foreign trade in goods and services, foreign direct investments and capital, global innovation networks and politics, on harmonisation of competition law and policy, as well as intellectual property rights, and international coordination of global environmental protection measures
- In international organisations and NGOs with a focus on economic development, development aid, povery-elimination, and environmental awareness
