The Structured Documentation for a Working Workshop Concept for Needs Analysis and Digital Student Mobility within the EdAccession project outlines a reusable approach to organising online workshops with students from Ukraine and Moldova. The concept focuses on exploring students’ expectations, needs, and concerns regarding EU accession and its implications for higher education. It provides a starting point for workshop-based virtual student mobility and can be adapted to similar situations in different contexts.

The concept addresses the following aspects:

  • Organisation and moderation of online workshops;
  • “Ask Me Anything” formats involving EU students;
  • Group activities to identify students’ wishes, expectations, and concerns;
  • Discussion of the European higher education area and the implications of EU accession;
  • Awareness of brain drain and its implications;

D.2.3. LIST OF URGENT NEEDS FOR WP3

The List of Urgent Needs for WP3 within the EdAccession project identifies student needs that can be addressed by the project consortium during the implementation period. Based on the needs and expectations collected through project workshops, the document links the needs analysis in WP2 with the development of learning materials and courses in WP3.

The document focuses on the following aspects:

  • Evaluation of students’ needs identified through project activities;
  • Identification of urgent needs that can be addressed within the project;
  • Distinction between needs requiring immediate action and those to be addressed later or in another context;
  • Priorities for the development of learning materials and courses under WP3;
  • A starting point for future support to countries undergoing the EU accession process.

MILESTONE 3: FUNCTIONAL "ASK ME ANYTHING CONCEPT" This document describes the "Ask Me Anything" (AMA) concept as part of the project "Education System Change with EU-Accession" (EdAccession), aimed at supporting students from Ukraine and Moldova during the EU accession process. The main goal of the project is to create a platform where students can ask questions and receive answers from experts on topics such as educational opportunities, employment prospects, and challenges related to EU integration. The project involves regular online sessions featuring expert panels, including academic advisors, industry professionals, and students with experience in EU education programs. Students can submit their questions in advance and vote on the most important ones, ensuring that the most relevant topics are prioritized. All sessions will be recorded, allowing those who could not attend live to watch them later. Summaries and additional educational resources will be provided after each session. Continuous feedback collection from participants will help refine and improve future sessions, ensuring they remain relevant and beneficial for students.

MILESTONE 8 ACHIEVED – STUDENT REGISTRATION ON THE PLATFORM. We are pleased to announce the achievement of Milestone 8 – Number of students registered on the platform as part of the EdAccession project. Thanks to the efforts of the project’s lead beneficiaries – Dnipro University of Technology (DniproTech) and the Technical University of Moldova (TUM) – over 2,500 students from Ukraine and Moldova are now registered on the platform.

This milestone reflects the high level of interest among students in the project and their desire to join the European academic community, gain new knowledge, develop essential skills, and prepare for professional challenges. We thank all participants and partners for their active involvement and support in reaching our shared project goals.
