EdAccession - Education System Change with EU-Accession

With support from the project partners, the EU accession candidate countries Moldova and Ukraine are developing an action plan that takes into account the expectations of students, teaching staff, and researchers regarding EU accession.

RECLAIM – Resource Education Cooperation: Laboratory Advancement

The project RECLAIM builds on partnerships between TU Bergakademie Freiberg and Ukrainian universities to strengthen research and teaching and address the war-related loss of laboratory infrastructure in Ukraine.

COIL/BIP Project 5050

Das Projekt 5050 - Joseph Tanatar ist ein einzigartiges, interdisziplinäres Lehrprojekt im COIL-Format. Eine historische Recherche zu Berührungspunkten zwischen den Unis verbindet Studierende der Geowissenschaften, Geschichte und Marketing miteinander.

VirtFa - Development of innovative teaching and learning environments at the Technische Universität Bergakademie Freiberg as part of the Virtual Faculty

The VirtFa project is the umbrella project for a large number of teaching innovation projects in which numerous TUBAF institutes are involved.

SUUUpoRT - Structural support for Ukrainian universities in Upkeep and rebuilding of higher education activities in the field of resources and technology

The SUUUpoRT project is a solidarity-based support service provided by TUBAF in order to compensate as best as possible for the teaching losses in the Ukrainian higher education system caused by the war through virtual programmes offered by TUBAF.

EdUp - Support and Expansion of the Ukrainian Higher Education Sector in the Area of Resources and Technology

The aim of EdUp is to implement specific digital courses in the Ukrainian higher education system. EdUp thus makes it possible to take into account some of the needs already identified and to promote cooperation through a "lecturer twinning process".

Activities

Collaboration with the AI Working Group at TU Dresden

How should universities address the topic of AI in the future? Are guidelines needed? How can high-quality teaching be achieved through the use of AI? These are just a few of the many questions educational institutions must ask themselves. This is an issue that should be addressed on a cross-institutional basis. To promote exchange and stronger networking, we regularly participate in the AI Working Group at TU Dresden. This group organizes, for example, AI Community meetings, professional development events, and teaching workshops. The group is currently working on developing proposals for guidelines on the use of AI at TU Dresden. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you're interested in establishing contact.

Peer-to-Peer Strategy Consulting

The TUBAFdigital team played a leading role in the peer-to-peer strategy process of the Hochschulforum Digitalisierung (HFD), through which the digitalisation of teaching at TUBAF was significantly advanced. During the strategy process, problems were identified, goals were set and initial measures were introduced - including through a visit by the peers to determine the status quo. For example, workshops and surveys were (and will continue to be) conducted with all stakeholder groups (university management, teaching staff and students) on teaching digitalisation.

International Cooperation

The main aim of TUBAFdigital is to create an attractive virtual teaching programme at TUBAF that can be used for digital student mobility. To this end, we are working with many international partner institutions as part of our projects and beyond.
