The alumni seminar has the following objectives:

• Create better research based knowledge of German – Chinese Co-Operation on issues of Climate Action as a Guideline for other International Climate Action Programmes
• Train Alumni in policy making for Climate Action Based on the German Experience
• Train Alumni on  Technology, Low-Carbon Economy, Integrated Life Cycle Analysis
• Connect with Business and Industry
• Develop Self-Entrepreneurship

The seminar targets not only IMRE Alumnis but also Germany Alumni from developing countries (DAC country nationals) who studied, carried out research or worked in Germany for at least three months. Special attention will be paid to Alumni of other German Higher Education Study Programmes, such as those within the DAAD EPOS Programme and to other Alumni with a suitable background and professional experience.
