Smart Mining is a joint project with five other TU Bergakademie institutes:  mineralogy – geotechnics – mining – sensoring and automatization – minerals processing –, dealing with the extraction of minerals from small deposits with difficult access. The focus is on the technology assessment and the enviro-socio-economic valuation.
