First-hand study information, extensive counselling services for parents, live experiments and laboratory tours: Prospective students can find out interesting facts about studying and the courses on offer in geography, maths, physics, chemistry, computer science, engineering and economics at TU Bergakademie Freiberg's Campus Day.
Between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., school pupils can seek advice in the new university library / lecture theatre centre (Winklerstraße 3, 09599 Freiberg) in their search for a suitable degree course. Prospective students can find out what it's like to sit in a real lecture theatre during the course presentations. This will be followed by themed tours of laboratories and technical centres from 1 p.m.
"There are no wrong questions on Campus Day. Prospective students can talk about anything that concerns them - openly and at eye level," says Helen Böttcher from the Campus Day team. "Teaching staff, students and student initiatives are on hand to answer any questions."
