His life's work for mechanical process engineering and mineral processing technology was honoured many times over: former TUBAF professor Heinrich Schubert taught and researched in Freiberg between 1969 and 1991 and was Vice-Rector for Scientific Development at the university from 1963 to 1975. For those who got to know him personally, he left a lasting impression not only because of his scientific successes, but also because of his personality. The Institute of Mechanical Process Engineering and Mineral Processing is therefore publishing a series of images with memories of his companions today (23 January 2026).
