Promoting the inclusion of students and employees with disabilities is a goal that cannot be achieved by individuals alone. Equal participation in studies and work is a task that requires the coordination of many areas. This has led, among other things, to the "Diversity, Equality and Inclusion" working group as a Rectorate Commission under the responsibility of the Rector. The Inclusion Advisory Board is made up of representatives from the Human Resources Department, Student Affairs Department, Disability Representation, Staff Council, Occupational Safety, Public Relations and students.
The tasks of the Inclusion Advisory Board
- Providing information for students and staff on inclusion measures
- Sensitising staff management, lecturers and students to the topic
- Collecting, discussing, expanding and implementing suggestions and ideas
- Coordinating investments in barrier-reducing measures
In accomplishing these tasks, we receive support from the Fachstelle Inklusion of the Coordination Office for the Promotion of Equal Opportunities at Saxon Colleges and Universities.
Suggestions from the student body and staff are always welcome.
