Excursions are an important part of the faculty's culture and provide students and employees with an elementary exchange with partners from business and society. They offer a valuable addition to the traditional curriculum by enriching the learning process and promoting students' professional development. For this reason, students at our faculty are required to complete a certain number of excursions, depending on their specialization.

Exkursion Kraftwerkstechnik
Das Institut für Energieverfahrenstechnik ermöglichte den Studierenden, am 29.01.2025 eine Exkursion in das Heizkraftwerk "Nossener Brücke" mit Rahmen der Lehrveranstaltung „Kraftwerkstechnik“.
Messebesuch ACHEMA & Industriepark Höchst
Vom 10. bis 12. Juni 2024 nahm eine Gruppe von knapp 20 Studierenden der TU Bergakademie Freiberg, an einer Exkursion zur ACHEMA und zum Industriepark Höchst in Frankfurt am Main teil. Die Exkursion wurde vom ITUN organisiert.

Studierende unserer Fakultät, sowie des Instituts für Energieverfahrenstechnik und Chemieingenieurwesen besuchten am 02.05.2024 die SKW Stickstoffwerke Piesteritz.
