The Faculty of Business Administration organises various activities that support the exchange between science, business, politics and society. The individual measures are aimed at different target groups - from decision-makers in companies, associations and political institutions to the general public.
The Faculty of Business Administration presents itself to the interested public at the Faculty Day of Business Administration. Lectures and taster lectures, hands-on activities and an interactive poster exhibition provide insights into the activities of the individual professorships. The various information stands will provide an insight into the world of economics through personal dialogue with professors, academic staff and students. The Faculty Day of Business Administration usually takes place once a semester.
Events such as symposia, meetings and conferences at the Faculty of Business Administration promote a direct exchange between academia and practice. For example, current findings from research and practice are presented at the biennial conference "Mergers & Acquisitions in the field of tension between law and economics", which is organised in cooperation with M&A Alumni Deutschland e.V..
Transfer is also an important element in projects at the Faculty of Business Administration, often in collaboration with companies in the region and beyond. Colleagues are also involved in interdisciplinary validation projects that contribute to the transfer of technologies into business practice. One current example is the NOLAN project. The aim is to work with various partners to develop a holistic emergency logistics concept that will bridge the failure of private sector supply structures.
