We focus our research and teaching on a broad range of topics related to sustainable economic development, with a particular emphasis on energy and raw material supply. Circular Economy concepts, as well as the use and integration of renewable energy and raw material sources, play a central role. At the same time, classical topics of environmental management - such as the recording and reduction of emissions along the value chain and throughout the entire product life cycle, including waste recycling and processing - are also important areas of focus at our department.
