In der ersten Oktoberwoche fand die große Geotechnik Herbstexkursion Spezialtiefbau und Geotechnik 2018 in Organisation des Institutes für Bergbau und Spezialtiefbau sowie des Institutes für Geotechnik statt.

Die Exkursionsroute führte über Berlin, Nordhausen, Innsbruck und München und die besichtigten interessanten Exponate betrafen innerstädtisches Bauen (U-Bahnlinie 5 und U-Bahnbau in München), Infrastrukturbau (Ausbau Autobahn A100 in Berlin), schweren Spezialtiefbau (Schachtbau Nordhausen GmbH), unterirdische Gasspeicherung und Salzabbau in Kavernen (Deusa GmbH in Bleicherode), Tunnelbau (Brenner-Basis-Tunnel bei Innsbruck).  Dem Verein Freiberger Geotechniker e.V. sei für die finanzielle Unterstützung der Exkursion und den Organistoren und den Betreuern der Exkursion für Ihre Bemühungen an dieser Stelle ganz herzlich gedankt.

In the first week of October, the great Geotechnics Autumn Excursion Special Deep Construction and Geotechnics 2018 took place in the organisation of the Institute of Mining and Special Deep Construction and the Institute of Geotechnics.

The excursion route led through Berlin, Nordhausen, Innsbruck and Munich and the interesting exhibits visited concerned inner-city construction (underground line 5 and underground construction in Munich), infrastructure construction (expansion of the A100 motorway in Berlin), heavy special underground construction (Schachtbau Nordhausen GmbH), underground gas storage and salt mining in caverns (Deusa GmbH in Bleicherode), tunnel construction (Brenner Base Tunnel near Innsbruck). We would like to thank the association Freiberger Geotechniker e. V. for the financial support of the excursion and the organizers and supervisors of the excursion for their efforts at this point.
