Overview of service and advice centres
- For questions about enrolment, introductory courses and the timetable, the Central Student Advisory Service at TU Bergakademie Freiberg provides advice.
- For specific questions about the degree programme, there are education officers and subject counsellors at each faculty. Students can contact the Studentenwerk Freiberg for information about housing, student finance (BAföG) and canteens as well as social and psychosocial counselling services.
- If you are planning a stay abroad during your studies or would like to attend a language course, the International University Centre is the right place to go.
- Questions about examinations and certificates are answered by the Student Office.
- Students can get answers to all their questions about e-learning platforms and web conferencing tools from the E-Learning Team. In addition, the Media Centre offers a printing service for coursework.
- The University Career Centre provides advice on getting a job and finding an internship. The team offers individual application portfolio checks as well as training in professional and leadership skills.
- The University's Student Council acts as a representative of the students. New students can find answers to questions about the organisation of their studies and student events there.
- Students can also contact the university's interest groups, such as the Equal Opportunities Officer or the Disability Officer, for special concerns.
