The junior professorship becomes a full professorship: Prof Dr Christian Kupsch has successfully completed the tenure track process and has been officially appointed as a professor. This marks an important milestone for the further development of the professorship and the MSE Lab.

Since its launch in 2021, the working group has continued to develop. What began with a single office and a desk is now a growing team with diverse research activities. The focus is on intelligent sensor systems, wearable ultrasound and ultrasound microscopy - topics that will continue to shape the scientific direction of the professorship in the future.

The appointment to a full professorship creates the long-term basis for the further expansion of research and transfer activities. The aim is to deepen existing expertise, initiate new projects and collaborations and further develop applications in the fields of smart sensor systems, wearables and ultrasound microscopy.

Special thanks go to the entire MSE Lab team and all previous members and cooperation partners who have contributed to the development of the professorship!
