Today we can announce a new team member at our chair!

Dennis Bäcker has taken over as head of the "Automation" research group at the chair. The research group focuses on robotics, industrial automation with modern test and simulation systems, the digitalisation aspects of the Industrial Internet and cyber-physical systems.
After studying mechanical engineering, Dennis worked for many years in the scientific field of solid mechanics, fluid mechanics and adaptronics. His accumulated experience in industry and application-oriented research at Fraunhofer will enrich the new chair.
