We have started an exciting collaboration with our colleagues here at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg from the Junior Professorship for Measurement, Sensor and Embedded Systems (MSE Lab) of J.-Prof. Christian Kupsch.
The aim of this collaboration is to develop and test ultrasound-based wearable sensors that can accurately detect muscle fatigue and movement intentions. In the future, this technology could make an important contribution to the control and support of exoskeletons.
In an initial kick-off, we gave them insights into exoskeletons and also offered them the opportunity to try them out for themselves. The MSE Lab provided us with information and details on measurement and sensor systems for muscle conditions based on ultrasound.
We look forward to further expanding this new collaboration and combining our expertise in the field of exoskeletons with innovative work in the field of sensor system technology.
