Have you already decided on a degree programme or are you still looking for the right course? For prospective students and anyone who is already in the application process, the Central Student Advisory Service offers daily advice, information and services - online, in person or by phone. Subject advisors from the field of study and the student representatives of the respective student council are also available to answer specific questions about the chosen degree programme.
Online applications for Bachelor's and Diplom degree programmes starting in the winter semester 2024/25 can be submitted at any time until 30 September 2024. Please be aware that different application periods apply to different applicant group, such as international students with study preparation. If you would like to enrol on one of the admission-free Bachelor's or Diplom degree programmes and have obtained university admission, for example the Abitur, in Germany, you can enrol directly online via the university's online portal. To do this, interested parties fill out the registration form and check whether all documents for enrolment are already available.
The confirmation of registration and personal documents, such as the school leaving certificate, must then be sent by post to the admissions office at TU Bergakademie Freiberg (application for enrolment). Once all documents have arrived at the university, newly enrolled students will receive their student ID card and information about the start of their studies by post and are thus enrolled.
If you do not want to enrol for an undergraduate degree programme but for a Master's degree programme, for example, or have not obtained university admission in Germany, you can also use the online enrolment. Please be aware of the different deadlines in each case.
