The Umberto LCA+ software is one of the leading life cycle assessment software solutions and makes it possible to identify and reduce the resource and energy consumption of a process and thus optimise the environmental performance of products.

- Assessment of potential environmental impacts according to ISO 14040/14044

Each participant receives a certificate at the end of the course under the following conditions:

  • Attendance and successful participation in all dates of the software internship
  • Submission and passing of the document assignment
Objectives and content of the course:
  • Introduction to the Umberto LCA+ software
  • Graphical representation of material and energy flows as a means of material flow analysis
  • Identifying and evaluating improvement potentials
  • Visualisation using Sankey-diagram
  • Determining the CO2 footprint
  • Use of subnets
  • Cost calculation
  • Export to Excel
Note:

In order to obtain a certificate, a document task will be presented at the end of the practical course, which students are expected to solve independently. Attendance is required on all dates.
