Seminar Industrial Management

In the seminar, students work independently on a scientific contribution from the fields of production management or logistics. The general topic of the seminar is "Current concepts and methods of industrial management". The aim is to provide students with an overview of recent developments in the fields of operations and supply chain management.

General information

The seminar papers can be written as group or individual work. Preferably, students should have basic methodological knowledge in the fields of AMPL, ARENA or UMBERTO and apply this to the chosen seminar topic.

Project work in economics

The project work should be worked on jointly by up to five students. The work on the topic should be divided up within the group. During the project phase, the results are presented in the seminar round.

Thesis

The Bachelor's, Master's or Diploma thesis concludes the corresponding degree programme. It should demonstrate the ability to work independently using scientific methods. A written thesis is submitted within a certain period of time. Depending on the respective study and examination regulations, an additional oral presentation of the results takes place in a colloquium.

Due to the large number of requests, it is necessary that you apply with a CV, transcript of records and a short synopsis in the office hours of Prof. Höck in order to be able to write a Bachelor's, Master's or diploma thesis at the chair. The theses to be supervised will be selected from the applications received on 1 September, 1 December, 1 March and 1 June.
