Here, we perform a wide range of analytical services both within the department and for other colleagues. Using state-of-the-art instrumental methods and rigorous quality control, we determine the concentrations of major, minor, and trace elements in solid and liquid materials, as well as anions and cations in water.

In addition, we conduct specialized species analyses, such as those for iron (II/III), sulfide/sulfate, or water content in solids. We perform quantitative analyses of rocks, minerals, sediments, soils, ores, slag, dusts, and aerosols, certain atmospheric gases, water, and suspended matter, as well as technical products and biological matrices.
