- You can visit and use the library free of charge and without registering without using library services.
- Before entering the reading rooms, jackets, coats and bags must be locked in one of the lockers in the cloakroom area (1st floor).
- The lockers are locked and opened with your university, library or guest card guest ID.
- You can obtain a guest pass in exchange for a deposit at the information desk on the first floor.
- The blue baskets in the cloakroom area can be used to transport work materials.
- In the reading rooms, eating and drinking (exception: transparent and sealable bottle with water) not permitted.
- For borrowing and using all services a registration in the library is required.
- For members of the TU Freiberg the registration is automatically set up and free of charge.
- Persons over the age of 14 with a German residence can register with their identity card or passport with confirmation of registration.
- Registration is subject to a one-time fee of €16. If the card is lost, this fee will be charged again.
- Persons under the age of 16 also require a declaration of liability from their parents.
- Additional fees are only charged in the case of special services or if the loan periods are exceeded.
