We are pleased to announce the publication of our latest article in Applied Sciences (MDPI) on the biomechanical evaluation of exoskeletons for shoulder support.
Dr David Scherb and Prof Robert Weidner contributed to this work in collaboration with colleagues Maximilian Ebenbichler, Benjamin Reimeir and Dr Robert Eberle from the University of Innsbruck. 🤝

🔬The content:
The study presents a musculoskeletal simulation pipeline to evaluate the biomechanical effects of exoskeletons for shoulder support. The results show how analysing joint reaction forces and muscle activation can support the design of exoskeletons that reduce the load on the rotator cuff in the subacromial space.
For more information, see the publication.

🙏We would like to thank our cooperation partners at the University of Innsbruck for the excellent collaboration and look forward to further research in this field.
