Today we can introduce a new member of staff to our chair! Uwe Morgenstern will join the chair as part of our laboratory team. In his future work, he will mainly be responsible for creating the mechanical designs of various superstructures (e.g. test benches), use cases and industrial scenarios.

After training as an industrial mechanic, he completed a technical college degree to become a state-certified mechanical engineer. He then developed forged parts for car chassis and set up a production facility for exhaust gas turbocharger impellers. This also included the 5-axis simultaneous milling of impellers, where he significantly further developed milling cycles.

We are delighted to welcome Uwe and wish him a great time at our department!
