In early June, Dennis Bäcker had the opportunity to travel to Guangzhou, China, with the Robot Valley delegation. The aim of the trip was to take part in the “Guangzhou International Intelligent Robotics Exhibition” at the Canton Fair Complex, where they were able to present innovative developments and research approaches to an international audience of industry professionals.

A particular highlight was taking part in the “World Robotics Industry High Quality Development Conference”. Discussions on topics such as robotics ecosystems, cross-sector applications of intelligent robotics and hybrid intelligence impressively demonstrated just how dynamically the global innovation landscape is evolving.

In addition to the professional exchange, the trip offered numerous opportunities to forge new contacts in the Asian robotics market and to gain international perspectives on the future of intelligent robotics and embodied intelligence.

They also gained fascinating insights during company visits, including to Saite Robotics and Guangzhou Guonuo Automation Equipment Co., Ltd. The openness of our hosts and the practical demonstrations of modern automation and robotics solutions provided valuable inspiration for future developments.

Another key part of the programme was the visit to South China University of Technology (SCUT) in Guangzhou. The intensive academic exchange and discussions about potential joint research projects clearly demonstrated the potential for deeper international cooperation.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the organisers, hosts and all members of the delegation. Such international encounters not only forge new partnerships but also promote the transfer of knowledge and technology, which is of central importance for the further development of robotics.
