The paper presents a method to measure the spatial displacement caused by axial misalignments and to derive fitting instructions to improve the anthropometric fit of an exoskeleton. The validation with 2D and 3D models as well as a preliminary study with the shoulder exoskeleton "Lucy" showed the feasibility of the approach under controlled conditions.
