Hackathon "Introduction to LCA" in Silesian University of Technology
A fully funded mobility opportunity for TUBAF doctoral candidates and students within the European University EURECA-PRO.
TU Bergakademie Freiberg invites applications from doctoral candidates and students for a fully funded grant to participate in the Hackathon "Introduction to Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)", hosted by Silesian University of Technology (SUT) in Gliwice, Poland, as part of the joint activities of the European University EURECA-PRO.
The hackathon brings together participants from EURECA-PRO partner universities for an intensive collaborative event focused on real-world sustainability challenges. Working in international teams, participants will develop and apply LCA methodology to address problems in resource efficiency and environmental impact assessment — core themes of the EURECA-PRO alliance.
Who can apply
- Doctoral candidates and students currently enrolled at TUBAF (active status, not on leave)
- English language proficiency at B2 level or above (CEFR)
- Not receiving funding from another EU-funded programme for the same period
- Able to define a clear learning objective for the mobility period
What is covered
- Travel costs (within NAWA programme limits)
- Accommodation for the duration of the event
- Daily subsistence allowance
- Full participation in the hackathon programme
Please note: Each participant may be nominated for one event organised whithin this initiative only. Applicants who wish to participate in the InterTechDOC 2026 PhD Workshop must submit a separate application for that event. Nominations cannot appear on both lists.
