The EURECA-PRO Transversal Skills Week is a five‑day online training event taking place 2–6 March 2026, designed especially for doctoral students who want to strengthen their academic and professional skillset.
What to Expect
Throughout the week, you’ll take part in interactive workshops based on the European Competence Framework, focusing on essential skills such as:
- Networking & Collaboration – connect effectively and build strong research partnerships
- Public Speaking & Impact – communicate your research confidently and convincingly
- Creativity & Problem Solving – approach challenges with fresh and strategic thinking
- Project & Self‑Management – organise your work and thrive during your PhD
- Digital & AI Literacy for Research – understand new tools and technologies shaping modern academia
All sessions are delivered by experienced trainers and limited in participant numbers to ensure an engaging, hands‑on learning experience.

- Format: five-day online training week, with one interactive workshop per afternoon
- Dates: 2–6 March 2026 (each workshop approx. 4 hours)
- Language: English
- Who can join: open to all PhD students
- Priority is given to members of the EURECA-PRO Doctoral School
