The Chair of Engineering Geology and Environmental Geotechnics offers teaching on the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes in Geosciences and the Diploma programme in Geoengineering. In addition, the Chair is involved in the international Master's degree programmes Applied Geoscience, Sustainable Mining and Remediation Management and Advanced Mineral Resources Development.

NOTE: In the Master's degree programme Geowissenschaften (SPO 2023), the modules "Ingenieurgeologische Labor- und Geländemethoden" (6 CP) and "Geologische Grundlagen in der Ingenieurgeologie" (4 CP) have been added to the in-depth compulsory elective modules in the Engineering Geology specialisation! (Resolution of the Faculty Council of 14 November 2023)

The engineering geology field course will take place in the summer semester 2025 from September 15 to 20, 2025. Registration on OPAL will follow!
