Kick-off Meeting for the EDUCATION SYSTEM CHANGE WITH EU-Accession (EdAccession) Project Held on March 7, 2024
On March 7, 2024, the kick-off meeting for the EDUCATION SYSTEM CHANGE WITH EU-Accession (EdAccession) project took place, bringing together representatives from four universities: TECHNISCHE UNIVERSITAET BERGAKADEMIE FREIBERG (TU BAF), DNIPRO UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY (DniproTech), LAPPEENRANNAN-LAHDEN TEKNILLINEN YLIOPISTO LUT (LUT University), and UNIVERSITATEA TEHNICA A MOLDOVEI (TUM).
During the meeting, the participants discussed the goals of the project, outlined the implementation plan, and introduced their respective universities. This collaborative effort aims to align educational systems with EU standards and practices, fostering greater integration and cooperation among the participating institutions.

On May 15, 2024, as part of the EDUCATION SYSTEM CHANGE WITH EU-Accession (EdAccession) project, the project coordinator from TECHNISCHE UNIVERSITAET BERGAKADEMIE FREIBERG (TU BAF) Dr. Olena Churikanova met with the deans of various faculties from UNIVERSITATEA TEHNICA A MOLDOVEI (TUM) . The meeting was organized with the support of the vice-rector of the university Dr. Larisa Bugaian.
The meeting saw the participation of deans from the following faculties:

Faculty of Computers, Informatics, and Microelectronics
Faculty of Engineering and Management in Electronics and Telecommunications
Faculty of Energy and Electrical Engineering
Faculty of Engineering and Management in Machine Building
Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning
Faculty of Textiles and Polygraphy
Faculty of Technology and Management in Food Industry
Faculty of Cadastre, Geodesy, and Construction
During the meeting, several key topics were discussed, focusing on the upcoming workshop program designed to offer the following opportunities to students:
Gain virtual insights into EU universities
Identify students' expectations, wishes, and fears
Identify current and future cooperation and assistance potential
Incorporate digital possibilities into their student mobility
Combat brain drain from national systems
Increase digital skills and media competences
