Youth and trainee representation

The youth and trainee representation is committed to the interests of young employees and trainees. This includes ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, service agreements and collective agreements and providing advice in the event of problems.

Representation for people with disabilities

The representative body for severely disabled employees is the elected representative body for severely disabled and equivalent employees (Sections 177-180 SGB IX). In accordance with its legal mandate under Section 178 (1) SGB IX, it is responsible for promoting the participation of severely disabled people in working life in the company or office and representing their interests. To this end, it provides advice and assistance.

The main areas of focus of the representative body for severely disabled employees include in particular

  • monitoring, complying with and enforcing the regulations applicable to the support of severely disabled people vis-à-vis the employer
  • participating in the introduction and implementation of company integration management and inclusion measures
  • establishing itself as a point of contact for suggestions and complaints from severely disabled people in everyday working life
