Welcome to the start of your studies
A warm welcome to the start of your studies at the university! To make the transition into university life easier, our introductory and orientation programs provide important support. Pre-courses in the sciences, introductions to degree programs, services for course registration, and mentoring programs help with the first steps at the university and getting to know contacts and fellow students.

Die TUBAFcard wird letztmalig an Erstsemester ausgegeben, die ihr Studium im Wintersemester 2024/2025 aufgenommen und die TUBAFcard noch nicht erhalten haben. Bitte bringen Sie Ihren Studierendenausweis zur Abholung mit.
Issue to first semester students
The TUBAFcard will be issued for the last time to first-year students who started their studies in the winter semester 2024/2025 and have not yet received the TUBAFcard. Please bring your student ID with you.

Applicant Portal became University Portal
The university portal is available since January 10, 2025. It includes many digital functions for organizing your studies. In addition to application and enrolment, these include re-registration for studies and payment of the semester fee, downloading notifications and certificates as well as submitting applications for leave of absence, for a change of degree program or part-time studies, for the transition from Bachelor's to Master's, for exmatriculation and for personal data changes.
The self-service portal still includes all examination administration functions and can be accessed via the university portal interface.
