EMerald is a prestigious 2-year Erasmus Mundus Master's (120 ECTS) bridging mineral resources and process engineering. Students study at four top European Universities, gaining international expertise in geometallurgy and circular economy.

EURECA-PRO partner, Université de Lorraine, offers 2 exclusive Master Grants for EURECA-PRO Alliance students.

✦ Full tuition coverage for the duration of the programme.

✦ Monthly stipend: €1,000/month for thesis/internship (max 6 months).

✦ Travel support: Access to Erasmus+ mobility grants.

✦ Funded by France 2030 (ANR) EURECA-PRO and/or ISITE Lorraine.

ELIGIBILITY

• Admission to EMerald based on merit and motivation.
• Enrollment in a EURECA-PRO partner university.
• Completion of at least 1 semester at UL.
• No prior full Erasmus Mundus scholarship.
• Thesis/internship conducted (partially or fully) at UL, subject to co-supervision agreements.

SELECTION CRITERIA 

• Must meet EMerald’s official recruitment criteria (academic excellence, application deadlines, etc.).
• Selection is managed solely by EMerald’s academic coordinators.
• Decisions by the UL EURECA-PRO Steering Committee in early July 2026.
